SUPERVISORY BOARD
DUTIES OF THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
BY-LAWS CLAUSE: 60.1 The duties of the supervisory Directors shall include:
Counterchecking, the effectiveness of the society’s internal control systems through:-
Verification of all transactions of the Sacco society
Writing periodic report to be tabled at board meetings
Submission of its reports to the commissioner
Presenting its reports to General meeting
The supervisory committee shall not perform the duties or exercise any of the powers of the board.
The supervisory committee shall be held liable for any loss incurred due to their negligence in performing their duties.
The Supervisory Committee shall serve as the appeal committee to hear appeals from suspended members.
